I don't often post much on the boards.  I am more one to read, listen and pray.  But now and then I need to give let everyone know how great the Lord so you may be inspired and built up in faith.

My wife and I are in charge of Congregational Care for a pretty large church in our area.  We have seen God do some amazing things, but this past Sunday morning was one where the Lord was simply showing how amazing He truly is.

Over the past 2 years my wife and I have been visiting a widow who was unable to attend services do to chronic back and neck pain.  We have taken her communion, prayed over her and worshiped with her.  During these 2 years, because of the number of people we must visit and pray over we have tried to recruit some help in visiting with her.  Every visit we made with her we felt like we were more blessed than her.  Her faith and walk with the Lord despite her pain is strong and mature.  This past week some women in our team spent some time with her praying over her.  This widow felt a release of pain.  This Sunday morning she greeted us at church, complete with a smile ear to ear and looking fantastic! She was pain free!  Praise the Lord.

Again this Sunday we get this next report.  Another Widow, an elderly lady, and I use the word lady for truly is one, whom lives in a retirement home.  She is able to care for herself, but she can't get out and do much and she has had constant leg pain.  My wife and I took another team member with us on our last visit with her a couple of weeks ago.  This team member has been talking on the phone with her and visiting her as well.  Anyway, after my wife laid hands on her and prayed she has not suffered one time with leg pain.  She is able to do things now she hasn't done in years.  The Lord is so merciful!

One more, this last widows daughter has been challenged in her finances.  She has a place to live but can't afford to live there alone and needs a roommate who has a job and is honest and trust worthy.  She has suffered for a long time with bad roommates.  A few weeks ago we were driving past her house.  My wife suddenly out loud asked the Lord to send her a Godly roommate.  This weekend we found out that last week, her new roommate moved in.  She is a woman who has a good job, and serves the Lord faithfully in the church.  She was looking for a home where God was honored.  The Lord hears our every word and honors our prayers!  Praise to the Lord.

The Lord is nothing short of amazing.  There is nothing anyone could do to solve any of these things.  Yet God loves each and every one of us and is willing and able to do what we think is impossible.

Keep believing in the one who gave His life for us!  Nothing is impossible to him who believes.
