What an awesome day in Columbia, SC.  We had 5 children publicly acknowledge their dependence on Christ through the act of baptism.  We held it on the Saluda River at a public park rather than in our church's baptismal pool.  My 10 year old daughter Alena was one of the five, and I was to assist in her baptism....but unbeknowst to me, our pastor wanted me to lead in her (my daughter's) baptism.  What an exciting time for both of us.  To make it even better, there was a Hindu congregation performing some ritual, and many of them were there to witness the baptisms.  Wha t an awesome time of witnessing it was.
