Brethren,

This will seem like a weird post, or improper, but I pray you'll see the point I'm trying to make. The Bailout Plan has been denied and the world is at panic. Yet, I say rejoice! I regret the hardships that many of us are facing because of it with layoffs and other financial issues. I regret that so many "innocent" people are losing their jobs and homes and other property. I regret that so many are feeling hopeless and defeated.

But I rejoice that the weaknesses of these world systems and the failing of the world's companies that so many look to for their sense of financial security open the door even greater for us to show those of the world that the ONLY TRUE SECURITY is found in Christ. These issues only further validate that the things of this world are temporal and that we should focus on building and storing our treasures in heaven, and not in the Earth's fickle systems. These issues allow us to further explain to people and show people how our trust in God for our needs to be met is the only source of security and how God will bless our exercising of such faith.

I rejoice that as the world's fickle systems that so many have been fooled to think are the source security become more dulled and darkened, our light to shine the light of Christ can show ever so brightly. Therefore brethren, I say to you, let us now step up and create new opportunities for those that are lost. Let us now step up and challenge each other to walk in the gifts, talents, and anointings that God has given us for our success and security. Let us now step up and show the world what the power of honest work can do and defeat the notion that you have to be corrupt in order to succeed in business. And finally, let us step up as the examples of how the world should live by living, growing, and leading according to the principles of God's economy that He alone may be glorified.
