Here is my saga of a story about yesterday but God is good and is helping You may get a smile out of some of this and that is ok we need to smile at times in the midst of trials Here goes

Well I had good apt with the physio lady Pam She is very pleased with my progress even though it is slow going. I am able to lift my left leg off the floor a little bit and that tells her the exercises are working to strengthen my legs. She gave me a few new ones to do carefully .We also decided I could use my stationary bike but only starting like at 2 min a day and then work up as the bicycle will help to lift my liegs as I peddle slowly and that will build some strength in them and get them lifting up more with time so I am making some progress

Now the van was another thing. To get into it I chose the second seat behind the front one as there were some things to hold on to and I used a little step thing and stepped on the first rung then Paul helped me make sure my fleet were stable on that and then I had to get my feet onto the floor of the van .In doing that I did manage to get onto the seat in a weird position sort of laying on the seat on my abdomen  and then I pulled my self more unto it . Had to then figure out how to get into a sitting position so I got a hold of the front seat a bit and pulled myself around facing the front seat and then Paul untangled my left foot that was under me and I managed then to  pull myself up into a good sitting position amen Got the seat belt on and I was ok just wore out from the effort mercy,.We are going to work on that part of getting into the van easier.

Getting out was easy I just eased my self off the seat and sat on the floor and then my feet reached the ground and I could stand up then and get out no problem so it is the getting in that we have to work on

So you may smile at this one but have to smile at something . After physio I decided there had to be a simple way for me to get into the van and get home i was so tired So I just got to the van backed myself towards the seat and sat down on the floor then    Paul helped me pull my feet into the van facing the back seat and I sat that way going home hee hee but it was easy to get in that way and we only were about 5 min drive from home so I just could not handle getting in the other way any more at that time.

Ok that is my story I will be work hard on my exercises and one day when we get a really nice day out Paul and I are going to go out to the van and figure out an easier way for me to get into it and into the driver seat so I an start driving a little bit My van is like new and it drives so nice  I love it and  want to be able to get back to driving by summer so please pray I can make that progress I know I can drive once we work on the getting in and out

Wow I am writing a book here but wanted to update you on this today God is good and we are making progress A week ago I could not lift my foot off the floor It was like it was glued to the floor now I can get it up some praise the Lord for that I am so pleased with that much progress for it will take time

Thank you for you prayers Keep them coming

God bless
