I am sure that all of us has seen the news reports coming out of Haiti. Today I watched these people, a people with little hope as far as the world sees, singing praises to God. This wasn't just a few but hundreds. These same people joined with others to praise God in church, even though their "building" was a pile of rumble! At the end of their service they took up a love offering to help those worse of that they are. This is from people in the poorest country in the Americas, less than a week after a major earthquake that destroyed their homes and killed thousands. Yes there are those that are looting but God's presence is there also and stepping out in front. How many of we Christians here in the U.S. would be praising God?
I thank God for such a humbling lesson. These Brothers and Sisters are in my prayers.

Amen; God works in many mysterious ways. It is easy to praise God when we are on the mountain but He still deserves the praise when we are in the valley.

Brother Ron,

Yes indeed, life's lessons
are very hard sometimes.

I too admire the courage of
those victims seen singing
and praising God for their lives.

God , please continue to bless them,
as we learn from their example.

peace, love & prayers

It is indeed a lesson for each of us.  And there are martyrs today who do the same as they're being executed for their faith.

I agree, and I stand in prayer for all of those that are in that country and all the ones that are giving of themselves to help.  I pray that americans would have more patients.  God is in Control.

May we all have the attitude of (Romans 8:35-39)  Verse 38 states:Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
