Praise our LORD God for His sweet blessings.
I have been facing some hard times as far as balancing all of the demands upon me, but I know God is with me!

My 16 year old son, who lives with my ex-wife (who is a pagan) has been under a lot of stress. I have had to be there for him more than ever. He has received a lot of poisonous words at home and he is a new Christian. I thank God for helping me to be there for him and to speak words of life from the LORD into his life. I love my son, but I know that God loves him more and more purely. I thank God for my boy and for the privilege of being the earthy representative in his life of our Heavenly Father. Thank You Lord for being there for us and easing the troubles, even in the midst of them.
I am so glad my son is coming over this weekend. It is always good to see him :)

The UCFM is a real blessing for me as I get to see what others are doing, going thru and sharing.
I appreciate everyone here. Even though I am praising the Lord in the midst of trouble I please ask for your prayers for my son. He is in the middle of a real Babylon environment. I am hoping he will decide to come and live with me and that the Lord will make that possible.

Also, I am trying to be in reflection in the middle of the regular daily concerns and the issues that afflict my son, and I am thankful that God is helping me to stay focused on Him, but I have to admit, sometimes it is hard. I know it is just the ups and downs of the situation, but I am persevering. I would still ask for your prayers so that I will deeply feel that peace of the Lord and that my trust in God will be strong!

Praise our good God!

Lord Jesus, I lift Brother Jeff and his son up to you.  I ask Lord that you guide and direct Brother Jeff in raising and training up his son as a Believer and Follower of You Lord.  Give him the Right attitude, words and actions to teach his son by being a faithful servant himself.  I pray Lord that you will use Brother Jeff's son in the same way through his actions and manners to teach those he is around that Christ is in charge of his life and he will not submit to any pagen or non-christian teachings or beliefs.  I pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  --AMEN--

I will be praying for you brother, your son, and your ex-wife.  Who knows; the Lord may use your son as a convincing witness to her.

I have even more praise to report!
First, I will thank those who have already prayed for my son's situation. Thank you, thank you!

The Lord has been working to give me the peace I was asking for - I can feel your prayers at work for me - a testimony of the power of prayer. Thank the Lord for His hearing of our prayers! Thank you that have interceded.

God gave me the opportunity to show graciousness to my ex wife today. I really am struck at how when we are in a situation, that God gives us the opportunity to show His love - even to those that are enemies or working against us & those we love. Truly the Lord is a good and merciful God. By doing something kind for my ex, I was able to release the anxiety over teh situation with my son. I didn't do it because I am a good person - I did it because God gave me the chance and wanted me to. He is truly in charge of everything!

So, I have been praying and just basking in the goodness of God today. I spent some time talking with my son earlier and we shared in doing some graphics together.  Also, I have soaked up the forum here today. It truly is a blessing!

On top of all of that, I got to give a friend that stopped by a book he needed that I no longer did. Then, later, I was given by someone else an old Maranatha praise album, which I am playing right now as I post!  Today was a day of giving and receiving. Is that not what following Jesus is about in the mundane daily affairs of life?  Being able to ask for help, to give help, to share with anyone that comes our way and to appreciate all of it. I am resting in Him tonight.  It am at peace  :)

Thank you all - you are dearly appreciated

Jeff
