Praise the Lord!!!  I know some of you know about us and what the Lord has called us to do, but for those of you who don't and those of you that would like to be caught up, I have got an awesome story for you!!!
A little over a year ago, we (My father in law, mother in law (jamil), sister in law (Pastor Tracy), her husband Nathan, my husband Matt, and myself) started work on a 102 year old church building.  It had been through so much.  It went through a couple of floods.  And was in great disrepair from that.  It sat vacant for years, but there was one point when the church was being lived in by an over the road truck driver, who would stay there when he was in town.  He parked his Harleys in the sanctuary, and made a bar in the basement.  God only knows what took place in this building.  We have had spiritual warfare from the time we started.  Spooky, hair raising events.  We believe that Satan is not happy with what is going on...but ya know what???  We are not leaving!!!  Praise God.  We have a job to do.  It has been amazing to see the Lord come through for us time and time again.  We have seen miracle after miracle.  From the Lord helping us with conquering our fears of climbing up on that scaffolding with no rails 30 feet in the air, to the Lord providing $30,000 worth of pews to us!  Praise Jesus!  We have completely relied on the Lord for all of this.  We do not take up an offering every Sunday, yet the Lord moves on people to give.  We believe that everyone should give 10% to the Lord, but we trust that the Lord will touch the hearts of the people and if they are led to give, then they give.  We are not a wealthy group of people, but you can't tell that from the sanctuary of the church building.  The Lord provided time and time again.  We did all the work ourselves and it has taken just over a year, but it has been amazing.  We know that with this part being finished, it is now time to fill up them pews, with faithful people who will spread the gospel.  It is time to go to the highways and the byways.  It is time to reach out to the sinners and the sick and the lost.  We pray that this is just the first of many church plants.  We would just ask that you keep us in your prayers as we begin to see the Lords plan unfold before our eyes.  We pray that you will rejoice with us!!!

We will be holding a service to dedicate this building to the Lord and His use soon.  If anyone would like to attend please let me know.

I know that all of your family has worked hard to finish the church building. Since we were able to visit a couple of times, we were able to watch the progress.

May the Lord bless your family, your people, and your church!

What a great inspiration, and statement of faith!

My heart has been greatly touched by these families coming together and with unshakable faith made a mark on their community - a residing place of the Lord.

I know they have been through some very thin times, some real hair raising experiences.  I know they personally suffered to do this, and did not back down one INCH.

We can all learn something from this.  We all have a statement - a mark to leave that is a statement to the presence of the LORD.

I have been blessed to receive some pictures of the restoration of this Church, and let me say this- it is a beautiful place of rest and peace, a place where the Lord will be found.

Anybody passing through that area or living in that area should stop in, should help those who stood in faith and restored this house of the LORD!

Kristy/Tracy - you might supply the address or google maps directions - etc.. for visitors... I will post what pictures I have of the restoration... also if you could send me some of the completed building, outside shots, and a shot of the entire family crew that restored this house of God.

P.S. what will be the name of the Church?

God Bless,
Fred

When you do a map search of it sometimes it does not take you to the church

Also Pastor Fred...how do I post pics?  Can I on here???  if so how?
Do you have a facebook?

Thanks everyone for the encouragement!  Our family and church family is thrilled for what the Lord has in store for us!  The Lord is amazing!!!

Kristy,

To display a image it must be located somewhere on the web.
For example the ucfm logo is located at the following url.

http://www.ucfm.org/images/IMAG003.GIF

Thus if I were wanting the ucfm logo to be in my post I would enter the code as below.

Code:

[img]http://www.ucfm.org/images/IMAG003.GIF[/img]

The result would be as follows.

If you wish I can put the photographs on the ucfm website and then display them here... all you would have to do is email them to me (frednech@gmail.com).  I have some photo's from Tracy that I am already planning to post online.

I love the name of the Church and know it will bring great blessings to so many.

I do not have facebook other than a private law enforcement account.

When is the first service or have you already had services.

Again, I am so happy the job is complete, and for the example of faith that we can all learn from.

God Bless,
