OK, This is going to be a long one but I feel worth it!!

Thank you everyone for your support and prayers!   I know that the Lord is going to move in this.  I see His grace and glory everywhere I look.  I pray He is ALWAYS the ONE GLORIFIED FROM THIS!  I don't deserve to be blessed so much. I have a confession to make that I am not pleased with... My walk years ago, was so vile up until I was robbed and shot in the head with a high cal. hand gun from eight feet away!  I deserved the death that should have come from it!  It took me four brain surgeries before I woke up to that red Gideon Bible, you know that one you see in every room.  I held that Bible up and asked the Lord, "What are you trying to tell me?"  After eight months of surgery after surgery and recovery reading that Bible, I was transformed into the "New Creature" Paul speaks about, I remember, reading through the New Testament and coming to Romans.  I read all very intently, desiring to "KNOW GOD", I got to chapters 6 and 7 and began to see myself as the filthy man that I am because the way Paul used himself as the figure of unworthiness, (If he would have been one of those people you see damning the world on the street corner, I would have put it down and never read again, but he didn't)  He used himself and even said, 7:25: "O' wretched man that 'I' am",  I paused there and thought how this man that wrote the word of God could be "unworthy" then examined myself and thought about the horrible walk I was walking.  I continued to read through chapter 7 and up to the glorious verse "Romans 8:28: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." -Truly my life verse-  I broke down into tears and started to pray in repentance, I remember coming to the point of dropping down to the floor in prayer for a while (long enough for the nurse to feel she had to ask me if I needed help, I told her that she couldn't help me with this.  I was crying and told her that I was praying, (I didn't know it at the time, but she stood in the door and watched me about five more minutes)  I remember asking for Jesus to cleanse me from the life that I had chosen up until then in tears the whole time.  (there was a lot of repentance going on, I was a "very bad" person)  I remember opening my eyes and feeling as if I was complete or a new person, even the pale green color of the walls seemed to be different!   I devoted my life to His work and His purpose ever since!  I focused my studied out addictions of the world because I was shot by a drug addict over twenty two dollars so he could get his next high, and wrote a book about addiction and God's views verses man's views -what a difference too-  The book is doing very well and being sold world wide in five different languages also.  I give the royalties to different charities and ministries throughout the nation, it is God's money as my wife and I see it.  (please know that I am not intending to boast, I boast only in the Lord Jesus Christ now)  The Lord has opened door after door for me and each time I would ask my loved ones to keep me in their prayers, God answers these prayers!  I know first hand!  I know that I have not opened up with all of you until now but I was not trying to be glorified in any way shape of form.  I worship the "only ONE WHO is WORTHY OF PRAISE" (JESUS CHRIST)!  Now God has moved me to witness to everyone I see and talk too.. I was blessed to serve as a Gideon to hopefully help plant the seed of truth with someone somewhere throughout the years.  I have been blessed to talk at MANY church buildings.  I never pass up a chance to glorify the Lord Jesus and witness to others about the only Savior available!  But I never allow myself to be -so called- "blessed with a love offering" (as they call it in different church buildings)  I feel that it is nothing more than "Filthy Lucre" in most cases.  There is always an exception to this, if one is in true need or something or if it was to go to a need somewhere.  But God has provided for me to be blessed with enough to get by and I would see it like the Pharisees taking from the widows that needs it more than they did (if I took money from them)!  God's Word came to us freely!  That's how I give it also.  I helped with a radio show called "The way of the cross" for a short while. Then doors started to open all over!  I began to speak with youth groups, to Christian addiction classes, and rehab centers (Christian reformers), The local mission asked me to work with the homeless men and former drug addicts.  All on a regular basis and it seems they always want to hear what I have to say.  I believe that it is because they are amazed with the "thumb size hole" in the top of my forehead from the bullet entry wound and the four brain surgeries. (you cannot see it in the picture I picked for my personal picture, but I think that I am going to change that to a more recent picture)  I always come out with the truth one way or another in my preaching, that is the "Lord Jesus wants us to be addicted to Him (God)", 1 Corinthians 16:15: "...they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints."  It is so easy to tie this truth in with the world we are teaching today!  The young adults and youth groups I speak too, don't want to go through the same things I had to experience!  I know that He (GOD) saved my life to glorify Him some way.  I believe in my heart that this calling is just one of the many ways in store to do so!  My life is no great thing and I am no better than anyone else, in fact I should be washing all of your feet!!  I just want to thank the Lord Jesus for the wonderful second chance and the ability to serve with such a great group of true believers here at the "UCFM".  I know that I have the fellowship in the "Lord Jesus Christ" in here....  I need it to prepare myself for the days duties ahead each day and I find part of that needed support here!!  Thank you for all your prayers and love you each share with me here.  This is a great blessing to serve with you all...

May the Lord continue to bless each and every one of His faithful servants on this ministry!!  God bless you all!!!
I pray these things "In Christ Jesus",  I love you all

WOW!!!!

What an awesome testimony you have just shared!  I can feel you love and passion for others and for the Lord Jesus Christ as I read these words.  I praise God for the work that you are doing.  The ones that the Lord is using you to reach is the ones that we all should be reaching out to.  The homeless, the drug addicts, the drunkards, anyone with any addiction....and the teens of this nation...I praise God for this...I look forward to hearing so much more of your ministry.  If the Lord ever allowed I would love to have you come and speak at our new church plant.

if you have facebook please find me...I would really like to stay in contact with you and even your wife also.

I thank all of you dearly.  I cannot tell you the love that I have felt here.  It has been a true blessing for my wife and I both to be in fellowship with all of you.  Many of the posts we read here are great for self consideration, leading us into some wonderful study time together.  THe Lord uses so many people today.  I have been blessed to meet so many of them right here!! clapping clapping clapping  Please let me thank you and please accept that for the truth.    May God continue to bless this wonderful ministry in His Son Jesus Christ's Holy name I pray.   thubmsup

Just1
My brother in Jesus the Christ, what a blessing God has given you and yours. I have been in the loving arms of God for about 35 years now, and all I can say is our God is an awesome God. Even in one trillion eons from now I still could not thank God for even one second of the blessings He has given my family and myself. I see it all around me. Like I said what an AWESOME God we serve.

                                                               God Bless you and yours
